Your journey begins here. Whether a novice adventurer or world-weary veteran, you’ve come to the Collective. Open your mind and learn our ways. Under the tutelage of our Disciples, you will find yourself and the unique role you have to play within our organization. Once you do, prepare for ascension.
The Disciples form the Collective’s primary working body. As a Disciple, you will gain full access to the Collective and be asked to select a role to play in the greater scheme of things. Disciples do more than toil on behalf of uncaring masters: they act as educators for Aspirants and even form part of the Collective’s leadership.
At the heart of the Collective are its three separate, but equal branches. Known colloquially as The Trinity, these Disciplines help with day-to-day operations and are fundamental in guiding the Collective’s members towards enlightenment. The Disciplines include:
In the wake of the Archmagister’s abdication, the Collective was left in the hands of two of its most loyal members. Jebei and Sa’ran of the Dotharl tribe exist as the de facto leaders of the Collective, guiding it into a bright future.
To this end, they have removed symbolism from the Collective’s previous era of singular leadership — Including the very notion that the Collective requires one set of hands pulling each of its delicate strings.
The Bilateral Regency, as it is known, is merely one voice in the Collective’s decision-making process, joined by The Disciplinary Assembly.
The Assembly consists of the three heads of the Trinity as well as three randomly-selected Disciples. This republican endeavor exists as a means to ensure every member of the Collective has a say in determining our direction and the projects we undertake.
Although Lior Emrys has stepped down from leadership of the Collective, he and his husband Leith have elected to remain as its benefactors. Along with I’mhati Tia, the Emryses act as advisors and intermediaries — Mediators.
Some disputes may not be peaceably settled by the Regency and Assembly. These more difficult matters may require the intervention of the Collective’s least biased members.
Whether the argument stems from careful political angling or simple disagreement, the three Mediators can function as voices of reason in a moment of cacophony.
